Job Description Postdoctoral position is available at Loschmidt Laboratories, Masaryk University in Brno, Czech Republic to study mechanisms of enzyme-substrate interactions at molecular level by various biophysical techniques.

Our research projects are dedicated to fundamental principles of enzymatic catalysis and to development of enzymes for environmental and biomedical applications. The speciality of our group is high integration of theoretical and experimental approaches with tight collaboration of theoreticians and experimentalists.
Qualification The candidate should possess strong background in the biophysics. The required qualification:
• Ph.D. in the field of biochemistry, biophysics or molecular biology
• theoretical and practical knowledge of enzyme kinetics and biophysical techniques, e.g., circular dichroism spectroscopy, fluorescence spectroscopy, static and dynamic light scattering, differential scanning calorimetry and isothermal titration calorimetry
• teaching experience or experience with supervision of undergraduate students welcome
• ability to work independently and take responsibility for his/her own project as well as to work in a team
• high motivation
