| Job Description | As part of a long-term collaboration between the laboratories of Rune Toftgård and Luca Jovine at the Department of Biosciences and Nutrition and the Center for Biosciences of Karolinska Institutet, a postdoctoral position is available on structural studies of protein-protein interactions at the core of the human Hedgehog signaling pathway.

| Qualification | The candidate must have significant experience in studying protein-protein interactions using both biochemical and crystallographic approaches. Previous experience with protein expression in mammalian and/or insect cells will be an advantage. Familiarity with SAXS data colection and processing will also be a plus. At least one first author paper in a high quality international peer-reviewed journal, fluency in english and a strong personal drive to excel in science are required. |
