Job Description Predoctoral fellowship in the GONZALEZ-REYES laboratory at the CABD, Seville (SPAIN). Available as from Summer 2013.

The CABD (Andalusian Center for Developmental Biology) is at the Pablo de Olavide University campus, in the city of Seville. The CABD is funded by the Spanish Research Council (CSIC), the Pablo de Olavide University and the Andalusian Regional Government, and has a vibrant, young and international scientific community. The working language at the CABD is English.
Qualification We are looking for a highly motivated PhD student with an interest in Developmental Biology. The research project will focus on the analysis of germline stem cells in the Drosophila ovary. The host laboratory has extensive experience using Drosophila as a model system and it provides access to state-of-the –art scientific infrastructure. The successful candidate is expected to hold a degree in Biology, Biochemistry or a related area and to be proficient in English. The fellowship runs for 4 years.
