| Job Description | In the international scientific environment of our school sites, IFOM (The FIRC Institute of Molecular Oncology) and IEO (the European Institute of Oncology), we offer 4 positions to work in the following research area:
philosophical foundations of biology and medicine; ethical analyses of the consequences of the biomedical results; biomedicine and society. This Ph.D. program is open to students having either a scientific or a philosophical degree as well as to medical doctors. Students will also be involved in lab activities and will have a chance to become members of one of the research groups of the IEO and IFOM research centers and/or to work in close contact with the clinical departments at the IEO .The course aims to create internationally recognized scholars in the fields of the foundations of the Life Sciences, ethical analysis and the relationships between biomedicine and society. |
