| Job Description | A three year post-doctoral position is available in the Field lab (starting January 2011). We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated scientist to carry out research in the area of stress signalling in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana. You will have experience in molecular biology and genetics, and preferably will have some knowledge of either biochemistry or systems data analysis. An ability to communicate well (in English) is important. Some knowledge of French will be useful but is not required.
Our lab is based at the Luminy research campus of Marseille in the South of France where we benefit from contact with one of the largest research clusters in Europe. Marseille is a vibrant and diverse city port (European City of Culture 2013) that is the gateway to Provence, the Calanques and the French Riviera. |
