Research Coordinator


The research coordinator is directly responsible to the institute’s directors and supports them decisively in the strategic planning of the institute’s research direction. As examples of his/her duties: he/she advises the institute’s directors in all matters related to the presentation of the institute to the public, identifies scientific results suitable for press releases or requiring protection of intellectual property. Personal initiatives to broaden the duties and tasks of the research coordinator are encouraged. Please find the institute’s profile under www.fli-leibniz.

The position will be limited to two years initially, but extension and tenure are possible. The employment contract and the salary are based on the Tarifvertrag für den öffentlichen Dienst der Länder (TV-L), but are adjusted according to experience and achievements.
Qualification The applicant should have completed a university degree in sciences or medicine. It would desirable that the candidate had worked in experimental research and/or had experience in research management. Proficiency of German and English is required.
