Germany: International: Postdoctoral Fellowships of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science

The Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) offers Postdoctoral Fellowships of 15 days to 24 months duration for German researchers at Japanese universities and research institutes. This program is open for all fields of research. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation is responsible for pre-selecting JSPS-Grants lasting 6 months or more. Applications for short-term research visits have to contact the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

Canon Foundation in Europe Research Fellowships

The Canon Foundation in Europe grants up to 15 Research Fellowships annually to highly qualified European and Japanese researchers. Candidates should hold a doctorate or at least a Master’s degree.
