David International Travel Award
Purpose:
To support a young psychologist to participate in an international or regional congress, with preference for applicants who intend to make a presentation.
Eligibility: Applicants must have a demonstrated interest in human reproductive behavior and should be graduate students or have a PhD, PsyD, or EdD in psychology with not more than 5 years postgraduate experience. Citizenship unrestricted.
Financial Provisions: Amount of expenses, up to $1500.
Duration: Length of conference.
Number: One per year.
Deadline: March 15.

APA International Travel Award
Purpose:
To support a psychologist to attend an international psychology meeting.
Eligibility: PhD, PsyD, or EdD in psychology or graduate studies in psychology, preference if on conference program. Restricted to APA members.
Financial Provisions: Amount of conference registration expenses, up to $400.
Duration: Length of conference.
Number: One per year.
Deadline: 3 months in advance of conference.

Society for General Microbiology (SGM), Travel Fellowship

Purpose:
Under a separate recently created program, IUMS offers fellowships for attendance of a workshop or specialised scientific meeting. The applicant from a developing country should be a graduate student in the final year of the Ph.D. study or a young postdoctoral fellow with less than 3 years post-doctoral training and intends to participate in a research workshop or specialised scientific meeting directly related to his or her current research activities. Specific evidence of these current research activities should be supplied in the form of progress reports, authorised by the head of the research institute and/or recent scientific publications. The award will be up to US$2000 and cover the direct costs of the residence to the location of the meeting or workshop, the registration fee and accommodation during the workshop or meeting.

International Brain Research Organization, IBRO/CEERC ISN Travel Awards

The British Ecological Society, Travel grants for ecologists from developing countries to attend BES meetings

Purpose:
Travel grants for ecologists from developing countries to attend BES meetings. The Society offers a limited number of travel and subsistence grants available to ecologists from the Developing World, so that they may attend Society Annual Meetings and Symposia within the UK and develop robust and productive contact with UK-based specialists in their chosen field of study.

Purpose:
As two of the Societys Strategic Aims are to distribute ecological research in effective and novel ways and to help create and foster the next generation of ecologists the Society has created this new grant to help students cover some of the costs of attending relevant ecological conferences and workshops that they may not otherwise have been able to afford. In this way the BES hopes that more young ecologists can present their work to, and network with, ecologists in their related fields. The award may go towards travel and meeting costs but the maximum amount will be not be more than pounds 300 per applicant. There is no closing date. Applications will be assessed on a first-come first-served basis. The website will be updated when the year's funds have been fully allocated.

The Novartis Foundation Bursary Scheme
Fields of Study: Medical science and biomedical research
Purpose:
To enable young scientists to attend Novartis Foundation symposia and, immediately following the meeting, spend between four and twelve weeks in the department of one of the symposium participants.
Eligibility: Applicants (of any nationality) must be aged 25 to 35 years on the closing date for application. Must be actively engaged in research on the topic covered by their chosen symposium, and should not already have accepted an invitation to participate in that symposium.
Financial Provisions: Travel expenses, board and lodging.
Duration: Up to three months, including travel, symposium, and visiting a participant\'s laboratory.
Deadline: Varies by symposium - normally a few months in advance of meeting

West African Research Center
Travel Grant

To enable West African researchers to attend and present papers at academic conferences relevant to the applicants field of research, to visit libraries or archives that contain resources necessary to the applicants current academic work, or to travel to a research site.
